Missing Kensington Man Whose Car Was Found Abandoned Found Safe
A missing Kensington man whose car was found empty in Carroll County was located safe, police announced.

(Updated at 12:27 p.m.): KENSINGTON, MD — Andrew “Drew” Sims has been located safe and unharmed, police announced Tuesday afternoon.

Police are looking for a missing Kensington man whose car was found near a highway in Taneytown.

Andrew “Drew” Sims, 31, was last seen by his family when he left his home on Peregoy Drive at about 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Sims said he was going for a drive and would return, police said. His car has been located unoccupied in the area of Francis Scott Key Highway (MD-194) and N Stone Road in Taneytown.

Police and family are concerned for Sim’s emotional and physical welfare. Sims regularly takes medication but does not have it with him, a police statement said.
Sims is described by police as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing 175 pounds. He has short brown hair, brown eyes, a beard and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a cream shirt with a design on the chest over a white crew t-shirt, black pants, and gray and blue Asics sneakers.
