The concert will support Temple Emanuel's Global Mitzvah Project on April 10.

Temple Emanuel’s Global Mitzvah Project is excited to have The Georgetown Quintet (TGQ) perform for our Annual Fundraising Concert on Sunday, April 10, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. TGQ is Washington’s distinguished, ground-breaking woodwind quintet that dares to go where other quintets never go. Nominated for a Washington Area Music Award as Best Chamber Ensemble of 2009, TGQ has performed at a wide variety of venues such as Strathmore Mansion, John F. Kennedy Center for the Arts, Benning Neighborhood Library and Black Rock Center.

Proceeds from the concert will support educational, health and anti-poverty projects in developing nations of Africa. A donation of $15 per adult or $40 per family is suggested. Donations of greater amounts are appreciated. Please consider sponsoring the concert with an advance, tax-deductible donation of $50 or more--- contact Teresa Kasper by March 31 at tkasper@templeemanuelmd.org to be listed in the program or call 301-942-2000.

Temple Emanuel is located at 10101 Connecticut Avenue, Kensington, MD 20895.
