What's Open, Closed for Thanksgiving 2015 in Kensington
Some city and county offices and services will not be running on the Nov. 26 holiday or the day after.

Most Montgomery County offices and services are closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving, from libraries to liquor stores.
While Ride On, Metrobus and Metrorail will operate, they will follow a Sunday schedule.

- County Offices – closed
- Libraries – closed
- County liquor stores – closed
- Montgomery Parks — for holiday operating schedule on Parks’ facilities, including Brookside Gardens, ice rinks, tennis centers, trains and carousels, visit www.MontgomeryParks.org
- Recreation – all programs and facilities are closed
- Ride On – Sunday schedule
- Metrobus – Sunday schedule
- Metrorail – Sunday schedule
- TRiPS Commuter Stores (Silver Spring and Friendship Heights) – closed
- Refuse/recycling pickup – no collection (slide day, all collections will be made one day later)
- Transfer station – closed
- Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters – free
- MCPS Administrative Offices – closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27
- Montgomery College – all campuses closed November 26 – November 29
- State offices & courts – closed
Gaithersburg
- City Hall – closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27
- Recycling scheduled for November 26 will take place Saturday, November 28; recycling scheduled for November 27 will be picked up as scheduled
- All City offices – closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27
- Gaithersburg Police Department – open, Administrative offices closed from 3 to 9 p.m.
Rockville
- City Hall – closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27
- Rockville Senior Center – closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27
- Glenview Mansion – closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27
- Recycling and refuse collection – shifts by one day
- All City facilities – closed
- Croydon Creek Nature Center – open Friday, November 27, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Licoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook Community Centers – open Friday, November 27, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and Box Office – open Friday November 27, 2 – 7 p.m.
- Rockville Swim and Fitness Center – open Friday, November 27, 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
