
The Montgomery County, MD African American Health Program is hosting its 3rd annual Community Day on Saturday, April 16 at Argyle Middle School in Silver Spring, MD. The purpose of this event is to inform, educate and empower African Americans and people of African descent in Montgomery County to address the common health issues that impact their lives, their families and their communities. Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will serve as Honorary Chair. This free event is open to the public and will feature an interactive health fair and serve as the official Maryland location for the National African American Male Wellness Walk Initiative.
AAHP Community Day will engage and inform attendees through the following activities:
