Carnival of Chocolates Fundraiser to Support Low Income/Homeless Families in Montgomery County

The Dwelling Place, Inc., is hosting its 23rd Annual Carnival of Chocolates on Sunday, September 13, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rockville Town Square.

This year’s event will include chocolate tastings from local chocolatiers, a kids fun run (100 yard dash), live music, games, and two children’s story times. The event is free to attend, with a $10-per-child registration fee for the fun run and $1 tokens for chocolate tastings. Proceeds will benefit The Dwelling Place. Attendees will also be able to donate by eating at select Rockville Town Square restaurants the day of the event.

Unlike the more formal Carnival of Chocolates from previous years, The Dwelling Place is bringing this year’s event “to the streets” with family-friendly fun for the whole community to enjoy.
