• Ride On’s annual food drive continues – ride free with a donation.
• BlackRock’s Annual Gala begins at 6 p.m. in Germantown.
• Blue Nouveau and Calvin Richardson present two shows at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 7 and 10 p.m.
• Victoria Vox leads a ukelele workshop at the Mansion at Strathmore at 7 p.m.
• Montgomery College presents Servant of Two Masters in Rockville at 8 p.m.
• The Stone Temple Pilots with Dreamers appear at Fillmore Silver Spring at 8 p.m.
• Olney Theatre presents Carousel at 8 p.m.
• Round House Theatre in Bethesda presents Uncle Vanya at 8 p.m. Come early and meet director John Vreeke.
• Jazz vocalist Michael Mwenso brings back the sounds of a roaring ’20s speakeasy at AMP by Strathmore in North Bethesda at 8 p.m.
• The Rockville Musical Theatre’s production of Next to Normal at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn begins at 8 p.m.

Saturday, April 25

• Ride On’s annual food drive finishes today. Ride free with a donation.
• Housing counseling and homebuying advice is available at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Visit Glen Echo Park’s Art Explorers Family Studio for drop-in parent/child art activities from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority hosts a public forum on the relationship between the police and the community at the Silver Spring Civic Center at 10 a.m. Reservations requested.
• The Silver Spring YMCA is hosting their annual Healthy Kids day with activities for the entire family. Begins at 10 a.m.
• Adventure Theatre-MTC presents The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with performances at 11 a.m., 2 and 4:30 p.m.
• The Puppet Co. presents Jack and the Beanstalk in Glen Echo Park at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Vocalist Cecelia Esquivel will lead an interactive program on Latin rhythms at the Davis Library in Bethesda at noon.
• The Kentlands Downtown Partnership is hosting a community forum focused on the future of the downtown area of Kentlands at 4 p.m.
• Blake High School in Silver Spring is hosting a Creator Con Festival focused on arts, gaming and technology at 2 p.m.
• The Circle of Hope Therapeutic Riding school is hosting a film screening of “Riding My Way Back” at 4 p.m. at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn

• The Puppet Co. presents Jack and the Beanstalk in Glen Echo Park at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Bring the family to the Rockville Science Day at the Rockville Campus of Montgomery College from noon to 5 p.m.
• The 7th Annual Paws in the Park Dog Walk and Festival takes place at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg from noon to 4:30 p.m.
• Let your voice be heard at the Broadway Sing-Along at Kentlands Mansion which begins at 1:30 p.m.
• Montgomery College presents Servant of Two Masters in Rockville at 2 p.m.
• Olney Theatre presents the musical Carousel at 2 p.m.
