ICYMI: 6 Restaurants Open Near Montgomery Village on Christmas Day

Celebrating the holiday season can mean entertaining relatives in town for the holiday or maybe a small, cozy family dinner.

But for those who want an option that requires minimal clean-up, several restaurants open in Montgomery County throughout the day for your breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner needs.

Bucca di Beppo: Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine this Gaithersburg restaurant located at 122 Kentlands Boulevard. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. Christmas Day. On top of the regular menu, you can order the “Christmas Day Feast” which includes sliced white meat turkey or hickory-smoked ham, homestyle gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce and apple pie. Founding Farmers: Enjoy Christmas dinner in a modern and eco-friendly urban farmhouse setting. The restaurant located at 12505 Park Potomac Ave., Potomac, will open from noon to 8 p.m. and offer the full menu. Reservations can be accepted for up to 10 guests at one table. Old Angler’s Inn: This restaurant is not only open on Christmas, but also comes with a rich history. Located at 10801 MacArthur Blvd., Potomac, Old Angler’s Inn will open at 11 a.m. Dinner reservations are already full, but the restaurant still has some spots open during lunch (before 4 p.m.) so call 301-365-2425 quickly to reserve. A $65 prix fixe menuis available on Christmas along with the regular menu.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Christmas dinner could consist of a hot, juicy, tender steak this year. The restaurant located at 7315 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, is open from noon to 8 p.m. To make a reservation, call 301-652-7877.

Yuzu Bethesda: Sushi, sashimi and special holiday cocktails can be found at this Japanese restaurant located at 7345 Wisconsin Ave..
