Renderings of Area's Most Expensive Condo Released
The Lauren in Bethesda is poised to become D.C. area's most expensive condo by going on the market for $10.5M.

Images depicting the Washington, D.C., area’s most expensive yet-to-be-built condo unit ever have been released by the building’s developer, according to WTOP 103.5 FM.
The Lauren, the eight-floor, 40-unit building, is being built by D.C.-based real estate and investment company 1788 Holdings and partner Persimmon Capital Partners. The cheapest units in the complex will start at $1.5 million.

The penthouse unit, known as “Residence 703,” will hit the market for $10.5 million. The developers have promised to whoever purchases the unit the chance to work with building designer Jeff Akseizer and architect Robert Swedroe during construction.
The unit will be 7,300 square feet, comes with a direct access elevator, hardwood and natural stone flooring, three bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a formal dining room, 600-square-foot grand salon and a gourmet kitchen. Additionally, the penthouse unit will come with a 1,500-square-foot private terrace and numerous other lavish amenities, according to BethesdaNow.com.

TTR Sotheby’s is marketing the property. Construction on The Lauren is expected to be completed by the early spring of 2016.
