• Enjoy an evening of laughter as the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company performs in Germantown at the BlackRock Center for the Arts
• Olney Theatre’s production of Godspellcontinues with a show at 8 p.m.
• The Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Award finalists perform at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 8 p.m.
• The Victorian Lyric Opera Company presents Haddon Hall in Rockville at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre at 8 p.m.
• Opening night at AMP by Strathmore in North Bethesda features American guitarist Jay Farrar at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 7

• Join Councilmember Roger Berliner and Planning Board Chair Casey Anderson for a look at the county infrastructure and growth from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School. Reservations requested.
• The Universities at Shady Grove is hosting an Open House from 9 a.m. to noon in Rockville.
• Visit Glen Echo Park’s Art Explorers Family Studio for drop-in parent/child art activities from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• The African American Democratic Club of Montgomery County hosts the 2nd Annual State of Black Montgomery from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building
• Find ideas and motivation for your next home improvement project at the Suburban Maryland Spring Home Show at the Maryland Soccerplex from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Children ages 4 and up will enjoy The Rainbow Fish at Montgomery College’s Performing Arts Center in Rockville at 11 a.m.
• Adventure Theatre production of Petite Rouge, A Cajun Red Riding Hood has shows at 11 a.m., 2 and 4:30 p.m. in Glen Echo Park.
• Imagination Stage presents Wiley and the Hairy Man at 1:30 and 4 p.m.
• Support the arts and cultural programs at Glen Echo Park with the House Tour Fundraiserat 1 p.m.
• Olney Theatre’s production of Godspell continues with shows at 2 and 8 p.m.
• The Culkin School will perform Irish dances at the Marilyn J. Praisner Library in Burtonsville at 3 p.m.
• Meet artists Donna Radner and B.D. Richardson at the reception for their exhibit at the BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germanton from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
