The Cylburn Arboretum's website states that volunteers can join "Head Gardener Jennifer Forrence, Cylburn Gardener Pat Sherman and other like-minded individuals on the grounds of Cylburn to help maintain the beautiful display gardens. In winter, the focus is on pruning—from boxwood hedges, to shrubs and small trees, you'll snip under the guidance of experienced gardeners, and learn a lot from working with the diverse woody plants at Cylbur."
