If you want a cake in the shape of a briefcase with "money" spilling out of it, Hampden's new bakery is the place for you.
Immaculate Cuisine's creative gourmet artist Kora Polydore opened KoDee Cakes on 822 W 36th St. in Baltimore on June 29.
With gourmet layer cakes and fresh desserts made fresh daily, the bakery offers a variety of items, including those that are vegan and gluten-free.
Clerk Brit Kolitch said that there isn't much competition in the area because they make unique sweet and savory items.
"We do some classics [like brownies and cookies], but we also have really weird things," she said.
Look out for cake decorating classes coming soon for all ages, Kolitch said.
Find KoDee Cakes on Facebook and Instagram for some mouthwatering photos of its treats.
It is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
