"A slow-moving cold front brings a good chance of rain Saturday, when highs are in the 50s — possibly near 60 if it's not too rainy — and overnight lows are in the 40s," writes the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang. "The front may still not be all the way through the region on Sunday, Christmas Eve, meaning considerable cloud cover and still the chance of scattered showers. It may well remain mild, with highs in the 50s."
