Vacation Bible School at Darnestown Presbyterian!

Darnestown Presbyterian Church’s annual Vacation Bible School will run from June 27-July 1,beginning at 5:30 PM daily. We will go on a “Cave Quest” where kids will explore what it means to follow Jesus through dark times!

VBS will be held each evening from 5:30 PM daily, and all events will be staged in and around our Fellowship Hall (to the East side of our campus).

VBS is a great fellowship opportunity with adults and youth working together to help guide the younger kids in an exploration of the Bible while doing crafts, recreation, and even science experiments. The children walk away not only singing Sunday School songs they’ll remember for years to come, but also with a whole new understanding of what the Church can mean to them and their families. Middle Schoolers have the option of developing a thematic skit to be performed on the last day of VBS, and High Schoolers have many opportunities to volunteer and interact with the children. There is also an adult Bible Study class offered each evening. In addition, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities for adults – you don’t have to be a DPC member to participate!

We welcome anyone from throughout our community, and all Children aged 4 and up are most welcome to attend. We are thrilled to see new faces and are excited by the opportunity to introduce young children to God’s gifts during this special week.
