5 Suspects Assault, Rob Man Walking Through Linthicum: Police

Five suspects punched and robbed a man walking through Linthicum, police said.

LINTHICUM, MD — Police said a group of five young males assaulted and robbed a man Monday evening in Linthicum. Officers explained that the 52-year-old victim was walking near Nursery Road and Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard when the suspects approached around 8:40 p.m.

The man fell to the ground after they punched him in the head and upper body, an incident report noted. Police added that somebody in the group stole the victim's phone and wallet from his pants pocket.

The write-up advised that the suspects then fled toward Shenandoah Avenue. Officers searched the area, but they couldn't find them, the press release continued.

Police mentioned that medics treated the victim on the scene for minor facial injuries. None of the suspects flashed a weapon during the attack, officers clarified.
