6th Annual Piney Orchard Street Festival This Weekend

Come out this Saturday, May 16 for the annual Piney Orchard Street Festival in Odenton.

The annual event, which expects to draw over 8,000 residents and community members this year, will be a fun-filled day packed with activities for the whole family.

The event will kick off at 11:00 a.m. with the Military Color Guard followed by the National Anthem. Food at the festival will of course include crab cakes, funnel cakes, popcorn and more. In between snacks, there will be many craft and shop vendors, while the little ones will enjoy any of the fun family activities.

Activities will include:

• Face painting
• Rock climbing wall
• Pony rides
• Moon bounce
• Sand art
• Giant slide
• Raffles

Craft vendors will include:

• BR Blends — balsamic vinegars, extra virgin olive oils
• Amethyst Artist — necklaces, earrings, bookmarks, keychains
• Waverly Wade Designs — handmade children’s hooded character towels, children’s clothes
• Candle Sweetie Candles — candles in the form of cakes, pies and sundaes
• Forest Creek — handmade soap, shaving creams, lip sticks
• Cyndi Hawkins — handmade hair bows, headbands, tutus
• Jaynie’s Love — hand carved wine glass designs
• ... and many more!

• Chick-Fil-A
• Cob’s Kettle Corn
• Dolce Italian Ice
• Expressway Pit Beef

• Lattimores Funnel Cakes

The festival, located at 2400 Stream Valley Drive, will run from 11:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Admission is free. Event will be held rain or shine.
