Arundel Gateway Plan Calls for Mix of Townhomes
At least 100 townhomes will be part of a much broader project spanning hundreds of acres in Laurel.

The community next month will get a glimpse of plans for more than 100 townhouses to be included as part of the Arundel Gateway project in Laurel.Â
Beazer Homes will present sketch plans on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.. According to a meeting notice submitted to Anne Arundel County, the plans call for "a mix of 105 townhouses and back-to-back townhouses." The project is located on Laurel Ft. Meade Road near the interchange to Interstate 296 an Route 198.Â
The townhomes would be one portion of a much larger mixed-use development with 1,600 homes and hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial space.Â
The public meeting will take place at the Maryland City Library in Russett.Â
