After a two-day pursuit, the Anne Arundel police arrested a Hanover man for a pair of Saturday robberies.

MILLERSVILLE, MD — Detectives with the Anne Arundel County police tracked down and arrested a Hanover man on Monday on charges that he robbed a Crofton bank and a Hanover coffee shop. Both robberies occurred on Saturday, and the police initially stated that the heists were committed by two difference robbers.

The police took Nicholas Daniel Pearson, 23, into custody and charged him with both heists and related offenses, the department announced Wednesday.

The first robbery took place Saturday morning at the Starbucks in the 7600 block of Dorchester Boulevard in Hanover, the police said. They reported that an unidentified male entered the store, flashed a knife and demanded money from the cash register.
