Ice, Snow Delays Ending At BWI Airport: FAA
Snow and ice on runways caused delays at BWI Airport, the FAA said Feb. 1, but delays and stops were ending by the noon hour.

HANOVER, MD — Some flights in and out of Baltimore-Washington International Airport were delayed Friday morning, Feb. 1, as crews treat runways for snow and ice, the Federal Aviation Administration said. Shortly after noon the FAA updated to say departure delays were lifted.
Because of snow and ice, flights arriving at BWI had seen airborne delays of 15 minutes or less, the FAA said on Twitter. There was also a ground stop for some arrivals, but that has ended
In general, departing flights were held at gates or have delays in taxiing between 16 minutes and 30 minutes, the FAA said.
