Man Assaulted Near Arundel Mills, Baltimore Suspect Found: Police
A man was assaulted near Arundel Mills, police said. Officers reported arresting the suspect, who they say knocked the victim unconscious.
HANOVER, MD — Police said a suspect assaulted a man outside Arundel Mills mall around 8:20 a.m. on May 8. Officers reported arresting the accused Baltimore man soon after.
A press release clarified that the suspect and the victim know each other. Police noted that the two were in the victim's vehicle in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover.
Officers added that the accused man punched the 44-year-old male victim in the face, knocking him unconscious. Police alleged that the suspect then:

- Pushed the man out of his vehicle
- Removed items from his pockets
- Kicked his head several times
- Ran away
Medics took the victim to an unnamed hospital, the write-up mentioned. Authorities expect him to survive.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department explained that it found and charged the accused man, 32-year-old Dareius Mark Washington Jr.
