Man Robs Hanover Staples Store at Gunpoint

Police said the man entered the store at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday and got away with some cash.

The Staples store near Arundel Mills was robbed on Sunday evening by a man carrying a handgun, police said. 

Anne Arundel County police said officers responded at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday to the store in Hanover. An investigation revealed that a man wearing a face mask entered the store just before it closed and approached a worker near the copy and printing area. He pulled out a handgun and announced he was robbing the store, police said. 

Police said the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
