Police Find Loaded Gun During Anne Arundel Traffic Stop: Report
Police said they found a loaded semi-automatic handgun during a traffic stop in Anne Arundel County.

SEVERN, MD — Police said they found a loaded gun during a Severn traffic stop last Wednesday. Officers reported stopping a silver GMC Acadia at the intersection of Town Center Boulevard and Blue Water Boulevard around 7:05 p.m.
After an investigation, police noted that they found a Glock 22 .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun. An incident report added that the weapon had 16 bullets in it, and the driver also had an empty 30-round magazine.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it arrested the accused man, 18-year-old Shawn Carter Gross of Severn, and charged him accordingly.
