Prince George's Man Arrested In Anne Arundel Traffic Stop: Police
A traffic stop in Anne Arundel County led to the arrest of a Prince George's County man, police noted. Here's what officers said they found.
LINTHICUM, MD — Police said they arrested a Capitol Heights man after a Linthicum traffic stop on Jan. 29. Around 10:15 a.m., officers pulled the black Nissan Altima over near the intersection of West Nursery Road and International Drive, an incident report noted.
Police informed that they smelled marijuana when they approached the vehicle. The officer searched the car and found a loaded polymer handgun with a 30-round extended magazine, the write-up indicated.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it detained the accused driver, 19-year-old Sean Omari Nicholson-Chappelle, and charged him accordingly.
