Severn Teen Found With Gun, Drugs: Police

SEVERN, MD — A teenager was found with a loaded .25 caliber Raven P25 handgun and the vehicle he was riding in contained 17.19 grams of marijuana, which led to the arrest of two of the three occupants. The incident occurred Thursday at approximately 9:20 p.m. in the 1800 block of Robin Court in Severn.

Officers were tipped off about a "CDS violation" involving a white Mazda SUV. When officers searched the vehicle, they found the marijuana and the gun. The juvenile with the weapon was taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and a handgun violation.

Zachary Royce Jefferson, 22, of Odenton was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with possession of marijuana. Nicole Rose Chidlow, 19, also of Odenton, was charged on a criminal citation for possession of marijuana and released at the scene.
