First chair honors in their respective sections go to Jacob Wright, Madeline Beaudry, Riccardo Jefferson and Susannah Greenslit.
Arundel’s Instrumental Music Director, Ian Burns, was justifiably proud of the Arundel contingent; stating “it was evident all the students who had the honor of participating in the 2016 AACPS High School All County Band had an invaluable experience based on their phenomenal musical performance Saturday evening! The students clearly learned a great deal from the musicality and wisdom of their guest conductor, Mr. Melvin Miles, who brought his 40 years of experience as Director of Bands at Morgan State University.”
The concert was held on February 6 at Southern High School.
