HANOVER, MD — Southwest airlines is offering one-way fares as low as $49 from Baltimore-Washington International Airport through Thursday, Sept 12.
If you want to spend the fall and winter somewhere else, now is the perfect time to book a flight and save some serious coin in a Southwest airlines sale that offers one-way fares as low as $49. But you’ll have to book fares from BWI Airport soon. The sale ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, Sept. 12.
In general, the shorter the trip, the cheaper the fare. So from BWI to Raleigh, it would be $49, to Fort Lauderdale it's $111 and to Phoenix, it would be $187.

The low fares apply to continental U.S. travel from Sept. 24 to March 4, 2020, in most areas. Exceptions are John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, where travel must be completed from Jan. 7–March 4, 2020; inter-island travel in Hawaii; and travel to and from Puerto Rico. Fares do not apply to continental U.S. travel to and from the Hawaiian Islands.

International flights must be taken from Sept. 24–Dec. 11, or from Jan. 7–March, 2020.
Some dates have been blacked out for continental U.S. travel around the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
