Suspected Drugs, Bullets Found During Traffic Stop: Police
Police said they found suspected drugs and bullets during a Hanover traffic stop. Officers reported arresting the Towson suspect.

HANOVER, MD — Police said they found suspected drugs and bullets during a Friday traffic stop in Hanover. Officers explained that they arrested the Towson suspect.
A press release noted that police stopped a green 1999 Pontiac Grand Am around 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of Charwood Place and New Ridge Road. The officer reported smelling marijuana coming from the car.

- A 30-round magazine with 10 rounds of PMP 9 mm ammunition
- Several baggies containing 288.8 grams of suspected marijuana
- A digital scale
The Anne Arundel County Police Department identified the arrestee as 26-year-old Keyon Tyler Mewborn. The write-up added that he is legally prohibited from possessing ammunition and guns.
