10 Owings Mills Area Restaurants To Try For Restaurant Week 2019
Restaurants are serving up specials for Baltimore County Restaurant Week in Owings Mills, Reisterstown, Pikesville, Glyndon and beyond.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Baltimore County Restaurant Week is underway, and several eateries in and around Owings Mills are participating. The event was set to run from Friday, Jan. 18, to Saturday, Feb. 2, but it has been extended until Saturday, Feb. 9.
During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants across the county offer fixed-price menus from $15 to $35.
“Foodies and patrons alike look forward to Restaurant Week. It’s a great time for them to experience places they’ve been meaning to try — or return to an old favorite — at a big savings,” County Executive Johnny Olszewski said at the event's kickoff on Thursday, Jan. 17, at the new Michael’s Café in Middle River. “We hope people across Baltimore County will experience the diverse cuisines our communities have to offer and support our local restaurant industry.”

Restaurant week in Baltimore County takes place in the winter and summer each year to give eateries a boost during times when they are the least crowded.

"We hope people across Baltimore County will experience the diverse cuisines our communities have to offer and support our local restaurant industry," Brent Howard of the Baltimore County Chamber said. "Baltimore County's restaurants provide not only enjoyment for its patrons, but employment to 27,556 workers in its 1,613 establishments. The restaurant industry is big business in Baltimore County, bringing in $1.6 billion in sales yearly."
