2 Owings Mills Sandwich Shops Donating Sales For A Day To Charity
Support children battling cancer by grabbing a meal from Jersey Mike's in Owings Mills on March 31.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Two Jersey Mike's eateries in Owings Mills are among several Baltimore area locations donating 100 percent of sales to the Cool Kids Campaign one day this week.
All sales from all locations in the Jersey Mike's franchise will be donated on Wednesday, according to a statement from the company, which operates more than 2,000 stores.
Locally, restaurant owners around the country pick charities to benefit from the March 31 Day of Giving, identifying organizations “that support local neighborhoods and build a stronger community," according to Jersey Mike's.

The Cool Kids Campaign is a nonprofit that supports children in Maryland with cancer through care packages, free vacations, milestone parties, movie nights, camps and other activities to help them feel like "cool kids."
This week's effort is part of the Jersey Mike's Month of Giving, which has raised $32 million for local charities since 2011. This year, the sandwich franchise hopes to shatter its own record and raise more than $8 million, according to a news release.

Visit the sandwich shop at 10200 Mill Run Circle or 9402 Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, when all sales will go to the Cool Kids Campaign.
Other Baltimore area Jersey Mike's locations donating to the nonprofit Wednesday are in Bel Air, Cockeysville, Glen Burnie, Lansdowne, Perry Hall, Timonium and Westminster.
