AMC Issues Guidance For 'Halloween' Viewing

Are you going to see "Halloween" this week? The movie theater in Owings Mills and AMCs across the country have guidance.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — The AMC Owings Mills 17 will be releasing "Halloween" on Thursday. AMC Theatres across the country have issued guidance ahead of the horror film's release 40 years after the original.

Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode to star in the film and will confront crazed killer Michael Myers.

AMC announced that while guests are welcome to wear costumes and dress up for the occasion, they are not allowed to bring certain items into the theater.

The following are prohibited, according to AMC:

  • Masks
  • Fake weapons
  • Real weapons

The first showing of "Halloween" is at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at the AMC Owings Mills 17, located at 10100 Mill Run Circle.
