The Baseball Warehouse, LLC opened their doors mid November as a lesson oriented facility; providing the highest level of instruction in pitching, hitting, fielding , and catching to individual players, teams, and organizations. The owner Matt Morris has assembled a team of instructors that include both current and past professional baseball players. Many with major league experience.
“ I am excited that a professional team of instructors, Val Majewski , Brian Kowitz, Larry Bigbie, and Sam Snider have join me, are committed to and have the passion to work with young players in developing their skills as hitters, pitchers, fielders and catchers. The knowledge and experience each instructor brings to lessons, camps, and seminars, is amazing and each are great at sharing that knowledge in a way that players, coaches, and parents at all levels can understand. “Said Matt. Unlike other facilities, the baseball warehouse does not offer walk-in rentals for practice. Their focus is on instruction for individuals or groups. Providing players, coaches, and parents with the knowledge, and skills needed to get to the next level. The baseball warehouse accomplishes this through year round instruction, camps & clinics, and seminars. Matt also stated, “ Our mission is to help players reach their goals, whether that is to make their rec travel team, high school team, college team, or to the Major leagues. To do this, not only do we have to teach players the correct mechanics, educate them on the nuances of the game, teach how to warm up correctly, and how to avoid injury, but we also have to help the parents and coaches by providing them with information and knowledge that helps them help the players. “

As part of their instruction, the Baseball Warehouse also utilizes Motion Analysis, high speed video analysis, to help players understand and visualize the adjustments needed to their mechanics and to compare with past videos to monitor their progress. Per Val, ”motion analysis is an important tool in the development of players. Being able to see what you’re doing as well as being told makes it easier for players to make those little adjustments and make them faster.”
