LEASING CENTER OPENS AT METRO CROSSING APARTMENT COMPONENT OF METRO CENTRE AT OWINGS MILLS

First phase of apartments scheduled to deliver in March with 232 units available   

Owings Mills, MD (January 14, 2013) – The Leasing Center for Metro Crossing, the luxury apartment component of Metro Centre at Owings Mills, is now open on Grand Central Avenue within the mixed-use, Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) located in the Owings Mills sub-market of Baltimore County. Two five-story buildings, which cumulatively contain 56,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and 232 market-rate apartment homes on the upper four floors, are expected to be delivered in March and April. The residential floor plan offerings will range in size from 700 to 1,245 square feet of space and will feature one and two bedroom designs, an open, spacious kitchen with granite islands, stainless-steel appliances, designer lighting and fixture packages and nine-foot ceilings. Monthly rental rates begin at $1580.00. The initial 232 apartment homes comprise the first phase of the program that consists of 1,700 units at final completion.

Metro Crossing community amenities will include a two-story clubroom with lounge seating, multi-media center, fitness facility, yoga room, billiards and catering kitchen; a covered parking garage; roof-top pool with barbeques, a fireplace and lounge seating; bicycle racks; elevators and controlled access to the residential units. All amenities will be available to coincide with the completion of the residential units this spring.

Upon final completion, Metro Centre at Owings Mills is  expected to support more than 1.2 million square feet of Class “A” office space; 300,000 square feet of complementary retail space and restaurant space; 1700 residential units; educational facilities totaling 120,000 square feet and a hospitality component offering up to 250 rooms.
