Baltimore County Police have charged a local man with robbing the Susquehanna Bank in Reisterstown.
Ralph Raymon Steele, 41, is charged with robbery and theft in the Dec. 18 incident at Susquehanna Bank in Reisterstown, according to Capt. Matthew McElwee, commander of the Baltimore County Police Franklin Precinct. Steele has previous robbery and assault charges on his record, and past addresses include homes in Baltimore and Reisterstown, according to court records.
Police were alerted to the crime by the bank’s alarm at 12:54 p.m. on Dec. 18. When they arrived, bank employees told them a suspect handed a teller a note that said “give me the money and I’m not gonna hurt you,” and a teller put money in his bag. He left the scene on foot, McElwee said.
