Baltimore County Under Winter Weather Advisory
The National Weather Service placed Baltimore County on alert for winter weather Monday, Feb. 22.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County is under a winter weather advisory Monday due to snow. About 1 to 3 inches may accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow may mix with sleet or freezing rain, officials said, and drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions that may impact the morning commute.
The winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22.

People should watch their first few steps on stairs, sidewalks and driveways, which may be icy and slippery. Visibility may be reduced below 0.5 mile.
The winter weather advisory applies to Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Washington counties.

"The area at highest risk of snow arriving before rush hour ends is west of Interstate 95," according to the National Weather Service.
