Baltimore Humane Society Pets of the Week: 1-20-20

Two great pets are looking for the "furever" homes this week.

DOG: MAXIMUS:
I am hoping that you are reading this because you want to give a home to a dog who really needs to be out of the shelter and showered with TLC. I'm Maximus and unfortunately my owners fell on some hard times recently so I've been spending almost 20 hours a day alone. If I seem a bit anxious or nervous at first, this may explain it but all I'm looking for is love and a safe place that I can call my forever home. When we do meet, I'll become a wiggle butt looking for attention and butt rubs. I am very food motivated and enjoy treats and food puzzles. I like tennis balls, ropes and stuffed animals. Previously I have lived with another dog and a young child. If you have room in your heart, I'm the sweetheart for you.

CAT: SYDNEY:
Hi my name is Sydney and I'm looking for my very own home. I transferred in from another shelter so my history is a mystery. What you need to know is that I crave warmth, comfy spots, sunshine and love. Shelter life is tough on any cat, but at 8 years-old I thought my homeless days were over. A stable home where I feel safe will change my world. Don't be surprised if I turn from shy gal to love of your life with TLC and time.
