Gymnastics Instructor Arrested For Possessing and Distributing Child Porn
County police said electronics found in the home of Paul David Bollinger contained more than 30,000 images and videos of child pornography.

Baltimore County Police have charged a gymnastics instructor at a Columbia gym in connection with possession and distribution of child pornography.
Paul Daniel Bollinger, 56, of the 7600 block of Gladstone Road in zip code 21244, has been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $2.5 million bail.
The investigation began in May when a detective with the Baltimore County Police Crimes Against Children Unit developed information on the possible distribution of child pornography online. Further investigation led detectives to Bollinger's home in Windsor Mill.

On May 25, detectives served a search and seizure warrant on Bollinger’s home and recovered a computer and numerous digital media storage devices. A preliminary review of the computer and devices revealed that they contained in excess of 30,000 images and videos of child pornography. The suspect was then taken into custody.
The computer and numerous digital media storage devices recovered during the search warrant will undergo a detailed forensic examination by the Baltimore County Police Digital and Multimedia Evidence Unit.

Detectives also learned that Bollinger had been a gymnastics coach at Top Flight Gymnastics in Columbia, Maryland. He has been coaching gymnastics for 25 years. Further investigation has indicated that he is sexually attracted to children and writes stories about having sex with children.
Investigation at this time has not indicated that Bollinger is involved in the production of the child pornography that was found.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Crimes against Children Unit.
