Constellation Books Closing At End of March
Owner Lauretta Nagel will still be involved with the Main Street Committee and Bloomin' Artfest.

Main Street bookstore Constellation Books will be closing its door at the end of March, its owner announced in an email to customers.
“Sales have not risen to the point that I can keep the shop open, and with the U.S. economy shrinking, it will not rebound,” owner Lauretta Nagel said in the email.
Ever the enthusiastic reader, she is marking all books, except for special orders, down by 50 percent until the store closes.

Nagel said she will continue to be involved with the Main Street Committee, which is aiming to earn Reisterstown Main Street Maryland recognition, and Bloomin’ Artfest.
“I’m not giving up [on] Main Street Reisterstown at all,” she said. “There’s so much potential there.”
