Crash Shuts Down Painters Mill Road In Owings Mills: Report

OWINGS MILLS, MD — A crash in Owings Mills has reportedly shut down Painters Mill Road Wednesday evening. One person was seriously injured, according to authorities.

One vehicle was involved in the crash on Painters Mill Road at Grand Central Avenue, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department, which was dispatched to the incident at 4:41 p.m.

One person was trapped and had been rescued before 5:15 p.m., officials said. A medevac was called to the scene to take one person with serious injuries to the hospital.

Painters Mill Road is closed near Interstate 795, Capt. Roy Taylor of WBAL reported after 5 p.m. He said the vehicle went down an embankment.
