Dog From Baltimore Humane Society In Dog Bowl

Cheyenne will be participating in the 2019 Dog Bowl before the Super Bowl.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — One of the contestants in the annual Dog Bowl has ties to Reisterstown. She is among the 63 pooches who will compete on the TV special, airing this weekend on Animal Planet.

Cheyenne is a 13-year-old who lived at the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown after being moved from a municipal shelter.

She was adopted within 10 days. Her favorite activities include car rides and playing with toys.

Her hobby will serve her well as the Goldies and Oldies aim to make touchdowns with their toy ball during the Dog Bowl.

Pups in the Dog Bowl II range from 2 to 16 years old, hailing from rescues and shelters around the country.

Another Maryland dog will be competing.

Beans, 7, who was brought to BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter) by animal control officers that found him roaming Charm cCty, will be in the Dog Bowl as well. He too has been adopted, according to BARCS, by the shelter's operations director.


The Dog Bowl II will air at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, on Animal Planet.
