Dylan and Dexter Are the Pets of the Week

Two Super Pets Available at Baltimore Humane Society

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Dylan and Dexter. Here's a little about each of them –

Dylan:

Hi, hi, hi! My name is Dylan and I am SO excited to meet you. Because I love you. And your friend. And your family. Are you sitting? You should sit so I can climb in your lap. I love love love cuddling! And also treats. Do you have any treats? If you do I would love to learn new things so you can give me treats. Did I mention I like to cuddle? Why don't you come to see me right now and then you can sit and we can cuddle and it will be the best day ever! Sound good? I must tell you that I did test positive for heartworm disease so I am hoping to find a new family soon so I can start my treatment. I will be considered foster to adopt until I complete my treatment. Please ask an adoption counselor if you have any questions. Okay, see you soon!

Dexter:

Dazzling Dexter is my name and yes, you can tell me how handsome I am if you want. I can be somewhat shy at first. My mom said I was always a timid cat, although I do welcome head rubs and chin rubs. They make me happy. I may not be a cat who likes to be carried, but I will sit near you or even in your lap at times. I enjoy laser pointers, feather wand toys, and using my scratching post. I must admit that children scare me and they always have. My mom was never sure why. I think you will enjoy having me as a companion, but you’ll never know until you come in and visit me. Let’s meet!
