OWINGS MILLS, MD – The Baltimore Ravens have announced that they will not be hosting fans at the team’s upcoming training camp due to concerns over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Citing protocols established by the National Football League and the NFL’s Players Association, the Ravens announced the decision Wednesday. Team officials said while local and state health guidelines may allow for gatherings while adhering to social distancing guidelines, the league’s mandate that no fans be allowed to watch training camp prohibited the team from allowing fan access takes precedence. The decision also prohibits fans from watching practices or scrimmages that would be held at M&T Bank Stadium.

The NFL has not yet announced plans for the upcoming season.
