Flags To Be Lowered For Maryland Soldier Killed In Reisterstown
A Maryland National Guard soldier who died in a crash on Tuesday will be honored.

MARYLAND — Flags across the state will be lowered to honor a Maryland National Guard soldier who died in a crash near Reisterstown this week. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan ordered flags to fly at half-staff until the burial for a Montgomery County woman remembered as a "true soldier."
Sgt. Dinora Aracely Flores, 33, of Damascus, was a staff sergeant at Camp Frettard Military Reservation, where she has worked since 2009. She was a full-time non-commissioned officer for the Recruiting and Retention Battalion, the agency said in a statement.
"I had just met SSG Flores a couple of weeks ago, and she was a bright and loving person and a true soldier," one woman wrote on the Maryland National Guard's Facebook post about its loss.
