Fourth Car Stolen While Heating Up Friday
Four cars were stolen in Owings Mills last week as owners left them unattended to warm up in the morning.

A 2011 Nissan Altima was stolen Friday morning after an Owings Mills resident left the car unattended to heat up in the morning.
The Nissan, which has yet to be recovered, was stolen from the 1100 block of Silentglade Court at 7 a.m., and marks the fourth car stolen while left unattended to heat up last week, according to Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.
Two cars were stolen Thursday morning at 6:30 and 7 a.m. from from Phlox Circle and Windblff Court, but both were later recovered. Another car stolen Tuesday morning from Joshua Tree Court was recovered that afternoon.

Lt. Doarnberger said last week that drivers should brave the cold.
“They’re just gonna have to ride in the cold for a while,” he said. “It’s better than having your car stolen.”
