Frost Advisory Issued For Parts Of Maryland
Temperatures could hover around freezing overnight in parts of the state.

MARYLAND — Temperatures are expected to take a dive overnight, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a frost advisory. Northern and western Maryland are included in the advisory, which also applies to parts of West Virginia and Virginia.
The advisory is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Temperatures will be as low as 33 degrees, leading to frost formation, the advisory says.

If left uncovered, sensitive vegetation that is outside may die, the advisory states.
People should take steps to protect tender plants from the cold before the advisory period takes effect.

- Carroll County
- Frederick County
- Harford County (northwest)
- Howard County (northwest)
- Montgomery County (northwest)
- Washington County
