Glyndon Grill Opens in Former Mia Carolina Location
Local restauranteurs dive into their second restaurant venture with Glyndon Grill.

Glyndon Grill is open and serving up classic and new American fare.Â
Taking over the space that was formerly Mia Carolina's, Glyndon Grill, located at 4844 Butler Rd., opened in late October.Â
Some of the menu items may sound familiar if you've eaten at Barrett's Grill in Hunt Valley. Glyndon Grill is restaurant number two for owners John Barrett and Mike Sipes.Â
According to Barrett's Grill's website, "John and Mike both believe in two fundamental approaches to restaurants – high quality, fresh ingredients prepared expertly and customer service that positively stands out from the competition."
Glyndon Grill offers up starters like TexMex Egggrolls and Tuna Poke; side items like mac & cheese and iron skillet baked beans; signature salads including Shrimp Louise Salad and Sashimi Tuna; and entrees like Mary Ellen's Pot Pie, Scallops Risotto and a Cajun Ribeye.Â
General Manager Bill Stafford said that customer favorites so far include the French Dip Sandwich and Mary Ellen's Pot Pie.Â
For those looking for a more casual dining experience, the restaurant has a bar area that offers pub fare. Additionally, Glyndon Grill has a private meeting room that holds up to 40 people.
Glyndon Grill is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sat from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Brunch is offered Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
