A couple of local Hanukkah events are on tap in the days ahead in the greater Baltimore area. Add more in the comments so we can put them on the list.

Beer and the Festival of Lights will mix at the Baltimore BrewHaHa in Hampden, where Union Craft Brewing is hosting a fourth night celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 28. Charm City Tribe, a group that aims to unite 20 and 30somethings in the Jewish community, is coordinating the event. At 8:45 p.m. there will be a candle lighting. Tickets are $20 at the door and include a souvenir glass, music by DJs JA and Bohfunk, dreidel contests and more. Available for purchase will be Union Craft Etrog flavored Anthem, Sufganiyot/donut ice cream from The Charmery and latkes (including kosher) by the Green Bowl Food Truck. The brewhaha will take place from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 1700 Union Avenuw, Suite D, Baltimore, MD 21211. Parking is limited so organizers recommend carpooling, calling an Uber or riding the light rail to Woodberry Station.

The story of the holiday will be presented through laser lights at the Hanukkah Laser Light Show on Thursday, Dec. 29, the Gordon Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are $10 in advance or $13 at the door. The show starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Gordon Center for the Performing Arts, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
