House of Ruth Hosts Fundraiser for Fashionistas, Bargain Hunters

Get ready for some bargain shopping in early October, "One Great Thing" is coming to Owings Mills thanks to the House of Ruth and local resale boutique Ruth's Closet. 

One Great Thing will take place Oct. 11-13 at Ruth's Closet, a resale boutiqe at 9131 Reisterstown Rd. that sells donated, fashionable and high-end women's
apparel, shoes, jewelry and other accessories, both new and gently worn. 

All profits from sales at Ruth's Closet support House of Ruth Maryland's programs and services for victims of intimate partner violence and their children. 

One Great Thing kicks off with a preview event and sale on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.  The preview sale is for ticket holders only, attendance will be limited, and guests will be treated to wine and chocolate, along with a great shopping experience.  Tickets can be purchased for $20 at Ruth's Closet or online at http://www.hruth.org/.  No tickets are required for shopping Oct. 11-13.

This sale will include luxury coats and outerwear (jackets, vests, stoles, strollers in fur, suede, leather, and wool), as well as winter accessories (jewelry, handbags, boots/shoes, wraps/scarves, hats/gloves).
