As parents and guardians it is not over when our children get to high school and in their senior year. They need us more than ever. Prom season is here and our kids need our help to make good safe decisions. Organized After Prom parties are a good decision. The juniors and seniors can continue their celebration at these events. Parent, Teacher, Student Association's in Baltimore county work very hard to organize the after prom events to create a tobacco, drug and alcohol free gathering. I as a parent and After prom organizer, I ask you to please talk to your teen and stress to them that attending parties with alcohol and drugs can lead to life change events. Encourage them to attend their school PTSA's After prom party. Lets keep our kids safe and at the same time help them make good decisions.
