Mustangs Fall to Titans 37-31 in Championship Game
The 8-10 age group football teams played for the title in Howard County Saturday.
The Reisterstown Mustangs played the North Carroll Titans in the 8-10 Centennial Division of the MMYFCL on Saturday at Blandair Park in Howard County. After a hard fought game, the Titans beat the Mustangs 37-31.Â
The Mustangs scored early with a touchdown in the first drive, made by running back Kennedy Fauntleroy. The North Carroll Titans followed by scoring three touchdowns and two field goal extra points (one attempt was blocked by the Mustang defense.)Â
The Mustangs came back with some great runs by Jonathan Smith, and a touchdown scored by Wide Receiver Jdyn Ishway with only seconds to go at the end of the second quarter.Â

In the fourth quarter, the Mustangs came alive with Kennedy Fauntleroy at the Quarterback position. He completed two passes to Mekai Felton, both of which resulted in touchdowns. Â

The Reisterstown Mustangs 8-10 Centennial team had an undefeated record of 11-0. Currently ranked second in the state of Maryland in their age level and division the Mustangs have been invited to play at the state level competitions coming up.
