New Hair Studio Opens in Owings Mills

When Joy Robinson Singer and Kate Boyle Taylor were in California for a friend’s wedding in September, they found themselves a salon that offered a unique experience.

“We immediately were enamored by it,” Singer said in a press release. “The experience was so terrific and different, including the serving of wine and coffee, that we decided to bring this idea back to our hometown.”

In March, the two friends opened Hot Air Blow Dry Bar at Valley Village Shoppes in Owings Mills. It offers “quick-fix” washing and blowdrying for women, men and children, and also offers up-dos, head massages and conditioning treatments.

The Hot Air Blow Dry Bar is located at 9101 Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills. It is open Tuesday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
