New Town Girls Out, Boys Basketball Play Tuesday Night
New Town's girls lost in regional finals Friday night, but the school's boys basketball and Owings Mills High's basketball teams compete in semifinal games Tuesday night.
New Town High's girls basketball team was defeated in the MPSSAA regional finals for 1A North by Western School of Technology and Environmental Science 46-42 on Friday.
The school's boys team is still in the playoffs, playing Tuesday night against Western School of Technology and Environmental Science in the 1A North semifinal. The team beat Havre de Grace 69-50 in the previous round.
Owings Mills’ boys take Edmonson-Westside High School on the 2A North on Tuesday. The team beat Loch Raven 66-58 in the previous round.
